As many of you remember, Walt Kruger was a valuable member of its community who passed away from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident on March 22, 2005.  Walt had been an employee of Cirrus Design since 1997 and was a cherished member of the Cirrus family.  Walt's key roles at Cirrus included Avionics Supervisor during the SR20 and SR22 production launches and most recently as part of the field service team department.  Before Walt joined Cirrus he worked at various aircraft companies including Gulfstream and Fairchild Republic.  Walt was also a member of the United States Marine Corps and supervised and trained marines on the Phantom aircraft.  For this he received a medal of commendation and held "final secret" clearance.  Walt was a dedicated family man and was adored by his parents, many siblings, numerous nieces and nephews as well as his Cirrus family and will be dearly missed.
